Re: The NFL Thread

So according to the NFL rules Aaron Rodgers is supposedly released from his contract? Will the NFL let that stand or because it's the Packers will they fund a way around it. Possibly fines and loss of draft picks?

Re: The NFL Thread

I protested my cable bill earlier this offseason and told them to get rid of my sports pack which left me with ESPN 1 and 2 and Fox Sports 1. Last night was I think the first time ever that a game was played that I couldn't see. :x What happened to the NFL Network and CBS carrying the games togethe...

Re: The NFL Thread

You thought Marshawn Lynch's tweet was classy? I consider it attention whoring. You want to talk about Seattle in a good light then we can talk about how Cam Newton took a giant step in eliminating the comparisons between himself and Russell Wilson. Wilson has proven he can knows how to lose with di...

Re: The NFL Thread

The Lions organization is denying Calvin Johnson's retirement so far. NFL.com hasn't mentioned anything yet and everyone who is reporting it is getting their info from Adam Schefter on ESPN. I'm holding out hope that he was reaching in order to break a story first. Not like it hasn't been one of the...

I am really looking forward to the Cardinals vs Panthers match next week. Both teams seem to really want to stop their path to the Super Bowl short.

Re: The NFL Thread

As long as Seattle is in the play offs I will be cheering for them, but I really think it's Arizona's time. I could see Washington pulling off a wildcard victory. AFC I have no idea. It would be fun to see Cardinals Vs Steelers part II. I got to hand it to Kansas City though I have no idea how they ...

Re: The NFL Thread

So the reason Dallas sucks this year is because of two games! Seattle who they beat last year and a Green Bay team that got beat by the Lions and the Bears! Those first place schedules are very unfair!

Re: The NFL Thread

The Vikings still have away games at the Cardinals and the Packers. They are improved from years past but they benefited from an easier schedule and teams that were slow to start. In the end the North goes back to Green Bay as usual.

I disagree about the Vikings they haven't beaten a team with a winning record yet with the exception of the Chiefs and they didn't have a winning record when Minnesota beat them. Now how about them Colts! At least if you are Manning you can admit you are old you've done it all etc... Andrew Luck sho...

Re: The NFL Thread

I'm starting to feel the shine has worn off Seattle. Teams are starting to figure it out and losing people like Okung is finally catching up to them. I am sure the team will be a playoff contender for years but I don't expect them to make it all the way this time.

Re: What's The Pinnacle Of Sports?

I would guess the most watched event in the United States would be the Superbowl, but it probably doesn't compare to the World cup on an international level.

Re: The NFL Thread

As a fan with all the Lynch trade/retirement talk and the inevitable free agents I really thought initially that they would only make the playoffs as NFC West champions maybe win A game. But like you said... I got to give it to Philly and Buffalo I'm going to be following them more closely this year.
