Re: The Walking Dead returns tonight

Here's why I'm not ready to buy it. For seasons now people have been turning almost within a minute. Sasha didn't make a less than 2 hour drive after taking poison. But here's you know who writing goodbye letters, organizing an uprising and diversion, having words with Negan, and after all that, pa...

The Gibson Thunderbird was about the only thing that made Sixx look cool, and spawned the legion on "Johnny Thunders with a bass" clones that copied him for years. Switching to this Schecter is about as limp dick as it gets.

You don't exactly need a keen eye in graphic design to realize Ol' Lucas' head is obviously Photoshopped on from another photo.

Would be cool if they did the occasional one-offs, but doesn't seem likely. It would be really cool if one of the cable networks could find a way to relaunch "Bands Reunited", with someone a bit less intrusive than that Amir guy who could come off douchey and pushy. The Donnas would be pe...

Butch takes a lot of shit for bands on their 3rd, 4th, or 5th+ albums who are already circling the drain. They can't write their own hits anymore so he's supposed to resurrect the careers of bands on the way down like Sevendust and Weezer. And when his tunes aren't the magic ingredient, he's sudden...

It's hilarious that Mr. Foodie doesn't realize the difference between a Calzone and a Stromboli. "This is a taco. But it's called a burrito where I'm from!" Calzone: https://i.imgur.com/P8bsDHf.jpg Stromboli: https://i.imgur.com/BrvnjVX.jpg

I don't have much to offer the topic at hand - but it makes me feel older than dirt to realize bands like The Donna's, Jet, Yellowcard, Hoobastank, Bowling For Soup, and Fountains Of Wayne were cresting their short claim to fame over 15 years ago at this point. Damn...

Ego prevents alcoholics from realizing one thing. You can drink the exact same amount of alcohol every day of your life, down to the ounce even, from age 25 to 50 and beyond. But the 25 year old will look like a kid partying his ass off as compared to the 50+ year old who just looks like an embarra...

Re: Why did the Strat fall out of favor with metal guitarists?

A quality wood with a heavy body is a good start, especially for fat metal tone and long lasting sustain. Couple that with a quality high watt tube head and you should have no trouble dialing in metal with the right pickups. EMG's seem to be the hottest and most preferred, but I've always loved Sey...

My last boss would buy the office lunch every Friday at 12:30 like clockwork. He spared no expense but at the same time, there was generally just enough for the employees on staff that given Friday. So... none of us would bring a lunch on Friday or leave to go get lunch. About 2 years into my emplo...

A few reasons. - The songs weren't going to age well. Even the great ones like "Wasted" and "1AM". - Leste's Voice is hard to tolerate after about 3 or 4 of your favorite tracks. - Kenny was a paint by numbers "Strip Band Bass Player". Tall, skinny, shades, sling your ...

The Walking Dead is like The Grammy's. Every time it airs the same people claim how it's awful and can name a list of things they hated. Yet, they never stop watching.

"Tonight didn't go exactly how I fucking wanted it to. Done. I'm over it!"
Ok, see you next week then.

Negan is my favorite character and if they stay even remotely close to the comics, you're all stuck with him for quite some time to come. That said, I agree. I didn't want Rick to kill him but I DID want him to take a shot at one of them up there. The new chick who materialized out of nowhere would...
