Why politics comes into, I don't get. However, he was a registered democrat until registering independent in 2008. He played for Bush, Obama, and Trump out of respect for the office. Did he push buttons lyrically? Sure. Racist? No. Trumpster, not necessarily.

Without It's My Life, they may have continued down the popularity of Def Leppard or Motley Crue. They'd all be doing package tours together at some point.

Think of the great songs of all time, Stairway, Free Bird, Hotel California, Bohemian Rhapsody, and many others; they don't follow the typical song structure. Hot for Teacher, kind of the similar vain. It's great because it's different.

Kevin Shirley keeps getting mentioned...not familiar with too much he did but the By Your Side album by the Black Crowes sounds almost perfect to me.
