Re: Martin Popoff books
I bought his eBook about Dokken’s Tooth and Nail album and it was great. Of course, it only cost $1 and was 30 pages, so that obviously made it a good value.

Re: Ever have a celebrity come into your work?
I managed a video store outside Chicago for a few years. John Cleese came in while visiting friends. SUPER nice. Made a point to initiate conversation and offered to shake hands. Richard Marx came in to rent "Let It Be," which was out of print at the time. He was friendly and we talked ab...

Would be cool to see the Mariners get a Wild Card spot. They've got 3 games against the lowly Twins this weekend, 3 in Houston, and end the season at home with a 4-game series against the A's (whom they're 10-5 against this year). They might be able to pull it off...killeverything wrote: Seattle is still in

Really sucks to hear about Trevor Story, he had my ROY vote in a good race, bum deal. Should open up the door for Seager but there's a few good Rook's this year. You should be grateful. According to ESPNChicago.com beat writer Jesse Rogers, Theo said this afternoon:
"I'm looking forward to seeing Kyle Schwarber playing for the Cubs on opening day next year."
Not that this is a guarantee or anything, but hopefully it's worth something!
