Brown has pretty much admitted in interviews he did 95% of the album and Ace is “notoriously lazy” … even KISSFAQ has figured this out. Ace brought one song and it was from 1984.

They might do a show or a residency in Las Vegas but they’re done touring.

Ace can’t remember 10 new riffs, he can’t even remember 10 old riffs he’s played for 50 years but atleast he’s trying … Gene and Paul are too scared and lazy to write new music.

A lot of the solos are someone else for the most part and Ace comes in at the end with some bends.

I think you nailed it but this album won’t help his case. My theory is that this was rushed to prove mars doesn’t have cognitive issues among other things to use for his lawsuit with Crue. You can tell he possibly played in a few places on this but the majority doesn’t sound like he had any involvem...
