Probably just because it's easier (for him) to sing... I'm sure he knows the the 'correct' wording of the phrase.

Two things: 1) Dawson has been out of Saxon for more than 35 years, and was not a member af the band when the stuff he got sentenced for happened. 2) The article says 23 million records , not albums. It may be stretching it, but they have 130 releases listed at metal-archives.com and 162 at discogs....
