Re: Vince Neil will be playing in my tiny Midwest county
German town is what maybe a quarter size of Carlye? I remember after Jani was out of Warrant they played in Flora IL which is maybe 50 miles west of you. Mt Vernon is getting national acts from time to time as well. Look on the bright side, a couple years ago you had to see Vince at Busch stadium, n...

I like Punchbowl and pork soda best.
They have a greatest hits called “they can’t all be zingers”. Hard to beat that if you are starting from scratch.

Re: HAVE YOU EVER ... Waited in line for a Concert? To Buy tix? For a Autograph signing? Parade? Other?
Waited overnight a few times for tickets. Usually a good time, hang with friends and other likeminded individuals. Waiting for Metallica tickets at hockey rink and the St,Louis Blues showed up for their morning skate. No one gave a shit about any of them. One night the tickets for both Ozzy/ crowbar...

Thinking about going to the show Saturday, it’ll be a game time decision.
I’ve not seen them since the Whipped tour.

Re: Do you have a pet or a license plate that has a band’s/singer’s name?
My pets are named after Beatles songs.
Someone that works at the local Walmart (assume they do as cars always there) actually has a TUFF license plate
No clue if it’s band related or not.

Re: I got 2 day Metallica ticket up top center 400s
Metallica is headed my way in a couple months, kinda want to see the first night. More I thought about it I’m glad I didn’t get tickets. I’ve seen Metallica 6 times and it was always damn good/great, also think the new album is alright. That said, I’m fine if I don’t see them again, especially in a ...

Looked like they played a pretty long set in that shit.
I want no part of that heat, they are playing st.louis sometimes soon so I’ll assume it’s going to still be 118.

Re: Extreme - "Thicker Than Blood" tour - Boston
Seen the Gary In show the other night. Great time with two of the better bands from “my high school era” still standing. I’ve seen Living Colour in recent years but first I’ve seen Extreme since the Punchline tour. Both still great live! The LC setlist was weak compared to some other ones off this t...

Re: Warrant Ultraphobic
I liked ultraphobic and belly to belly both. Music somewhat different but still Jani’s strong song writing. The ultraphobic tour may had been a slap in the face for warrant, but it was one of the stronger shows I’d seen them play. And honestly, that’s saying something, always a great live band (if J...

Re: Ever passed out playing a gig in the heat?
I seen the bass player for Firehouse pass out when they opened for Tesla on psychotic supper tour. It was almost at end of their set and he got propped up by speakers and finished the last song. Seen Mike Campbell pass out as well on the same stage many many years later. They let him have a breather...

Seen them a few times over the last 8-10 years in St.Louis. They are still a great live band, on the rare nights they play.
Same energy as the good ol days.
They just re-released the 2nd album a year or so, it is solid and well worth the $15.

JoJo Rabbit, 10 year old screw up joins nazi youth group during last days of WW2. His imaginary friend is Hitler. His mother has a a Teenage Jewish girl hidden away in their house. JoJo makes some tough decisions. Seemed like a Wes Anderson movie to me, but that’s a good thing imo. Lots of funny par...

Went with th wife to see “Pet Cemetry” last night. Couldn’t wait for it to be over. Didn’t find it to be remotely tense, let alone have any scary moments. We sat towards the back and not once did the 1/2 full theater have and screams or jumps from my view. John Lithgow did justice on his role at le...

Blade runner 2049. Good God was it long. If you liked the first one I'd say you'd like this one as well. Not full of action, mostly a detective crime sci-fi flick. Kind of a slow paced tense build, had me guessing along to the plot for entirety of film. Visually awesome for the majority of the film....

Mother - I don't even know where to begin rating it. It was more dark comedy than a horror as advertised imo. Great cast. Just mostly fucked up, but in a good way. Maybe.

Ghostbusters 2 wasn't much to write home about either IMO. Didn't they have rumors of Eddie Murphy joining the cast for ghostbusters 3? This would had been shortly after the release of 2. Would put money on seeing it on of the movie magazines, him on cover with the other four fellas. Eddie may had o...

Ghostbusters - I'd say about a 6.5 (or maybe 7) out of 10. It was a lil chatty at times, and many of the scenes seemed laid out like skit comedy. Overall a pretty fun way to kill a couple hours. Thought the ladies all did well in their lead roles. The fella that plays Thor was kinda the scene steale...

Seen "Inherant Vice" vice the other night. I'd say it's a mash up between LA confidential and pineapple express from the '60's. Had sort of a Tarantino vibe to it. Good but odd movie. One of those I left thinking I needed to watch again to get the more subtle jokes. Laugh out loud funny in...

It looked to me like Payton had already went into semiretirement in the 4th quarter. I hope he hangs it up. As a Giants fan I loved seeing Dallas get the boot, but they got screwed on that dez catch. I don't buy into the Romo hype of the last few weeks, but the fellas got guts so I respect him for t...
