Well, it was 37 years ago and the quote is "I was headlining and I think we had the group the Donnas or one of those female bands.". So, whatever - it's not like a major gotcha or something.

Re: Rock Hall of Fame 2024 nominees announced

Once again, rock and roll is a genre, not an "attitude". They need to change the name to the Popular Music Hall of Fame. There is obviously nothing "rock and roll" about Sade and the like. Nothing against their music.

Re: AC/DC may be about to announce a tour

AC/DC is a little like The Stones. As long as Brian and Angus are there they can keep going just the same as Mick and Keith. Looking at AC/DC Brian and Angus are the whole show as far as stage presence is concerned. The other guys are just part of the scenery. Not many will care who's playing bass ...

I thought Joni was THE highlight of the show. Very poignant and beautiful song. It actually brought tears to my eyes. She has more talent than 99% of the musicians that were there.

Nothing to do with money. Not saying that what he posted isn't 100% true and more entertaining than anything released from VH camp in 30 years, but it also has the feel of the classic Hollywood cliche of the old starlet realizing the curtain is closed for good and spiraling. He's looking back in an...

Re: Roth keeps trolling WOLF !!!

Dave at the end of the road with nothing left to lose. Kind of sad, but keep it coming. The main beef is probably that Wolf has more control over VH catalog than he does and will control it when the living members croak soon. He signed away his rights to the classic catalog for the reunion. So he s...

Why should Ace have played for free for douchebags Gene and Paul? Ace gave his price, they declined and ended up with probably the most disappointing final show in rock history - everybody should just move on.

Not that Ace is to be taken seriously and not that Paul is any prize, but Paul is a better guitar player. Even something like the live version of Detroit Rock City. When Paul comes in with the harmony in the solo section, it’s just obvious that he plays with way more natural feel. Also random quest...
