All good here. Cleanings 2x a year, floss daily. I did have to do Invisalign to fix some crowding years ago and once you spent all that money and time you will always maintain your dental health.
It sucks having to sleep with a retainer for life but it's better than undoing all the work.

Re: The most valuable vinyl you own
I had the 2014 Beatles Mono Vinyl box but sold it recently for a decent amount of money. I have a handful that are going for triple digits according to Discogs last sold amounts. The first Crosses (Chino of Deftones) album, and an original pressing of Manson's Mechanical Animals are probably my most...

I find it refreshing to know that while we are all shitting on the 2022 clips, Jon was also aware of his voice failing him behind the scenes. All the vocal coaching, weird laser machines, throat massages etc. even with his wife commenting backstage that one of the last show's 'wasn't great'. I give ...

Weird, it's as if one or two of you find the performance lacking. I asked if it kicked ass. If I was being objective, I'd I say the performance is high energy, the band is tight and looks cool, my voice is strong though admittedly pitchy (ever hear of David Lee Roth?), the audience response is enth...

I'm so used to shitting on KISS that I'm puzzled that I really enjoyed that. Great energy with the band and Gene doesn't seem to bored out of his mind.

Re: You lyrics lovers explain something to me
Having a thread on here where people say lyrics don't matter really helps me make sense of why there's praise for shit like Skid Row's The Gangs All Here, Extreme's Rise, or the new Ace Frehley. Some people just love their predictable couplets of generic lyrics because it's safe, and they don't have...

I thought it was great and that they finally got their heads on straight and could possibly have a killer album after a string of duds. I was wrong. Turned out to be an album full of 80s kiss sounding rejects. Yeah, basically there was Unholy and then a shitload of songs by Paul who was still in Cr...

This version of Axl is confusing, teased hair, prancing around like Gary Cherone. How did he turn into the cool Axl we all know a year later?

Re: Skid Row Rehearsal Video from 1991
I gained a lot of respect for Skid Row because of Slave To The Grind. Out of all the bands at that time they could have cashed in HUGE if they put out a pop-metal album with wimpy ballads. Instead they put out ... a pop punk album with THREE power ballad singles. That's 90s Aerosmith and Scorpions ...

I don't believe arenas would even be in the conversation. As great as they were in 1989 - 1992, we are talking forever ago and people have mo...

Last week I saw Extreme and Living Colour play in a really nice larger sized club - it probably held 1100 minimum and I’d say that there was maybe 500 there at best and that’s being generous. I’d assume that both bands have a decent guarantee so I’d also have guessed the promoter took a huge hit. T...

I think his voice sounds great, I wouldn't be able to tell it was current era Sebastian if I didn't already know. However, we have the video, which is cheesy as fuck, and ruins the song completely. Two great points listed above: 1- It does Subhuman Race-ish, and is kind of forgettable. 2- He ruins e...

Agreed! It's a great listen front to back. Probably my favorite record from them, with Candy O close behind.Playboyliquor59 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 13, 2024 11:58 am Love the sequencing of the songs. Not sure how much input the band had on that but the songs just flows right.
