Re: Would you still like Priest if Half wasn't a LGBT?

Well, maybe it's a cultural thing, but over here in the 70s/80s the leather-clad gay guy in the Brando cap and chaps (with optional extra handlebar moustache) was a well-established comedy trope. Hell, you all got the Police Academy gag with the Blue Oyster Bar, right? And none of the actual bikers...

Re: What is the most overrated thing people love you do not understand?

France is famous for soft cheeses, but I've never heard that the UK had great cheese. What kind of cheese are you talking about? I'm genuinely curious. I've had Irish sharp cheddar recently, and it was fabulous, but other than that, what does the UK have? We are FANATICAL about cheese over here. Do...

It does in the states thats for sure. UK and France has amazing cheese. Tastes nothing like that crap you yanks pass off as cheese. Re: "I didn't think it would be over and done with so quick." Sebastian Bach says he and Skid Row owe it to the fans…

Sebastian is the voice of reason here. Original Skid Row do owe it to us, We’ve been waiting long enough. Here's the thing. Nobody "owes" the fans anything, and it's the height of delusion to think that just because you liked a band thirty years ago they somehow have an obligation to get ...

I have a Venom best of - From Hell to the Unknown - where they put the same version of Black Metal on both of the discs, pretty sure that was unintentional and that some record exec lost his private jet privileges over that fuckup! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wupKa3DyPuY I assumed they werent big enough in London to do that venue. Good footage of the full show. They've done a six-date run of venues that size here over the last couple of weeks. I saw em at Leeds Arena, wasn't entirely sold out but I reckon a good 10,000 th...

Re: When did you graduate High School? (Poll)

We don't "graduate" as such over here, we just do our exams and then leave. Mine was '87. Do you do those exams at about 16-18 years of age? If so, then that's similar. General exams (GCSEs these days, O-levels when I was there) are at 16, those who wish to stay on for A-levels finish at ...

Freakiest film I've ever seen is probably Brian Yuzna's Society. I like a good weird horror and they don't come much weirder than that.

2012 Vauxhall Vivaro. Does everything I need it to, nice enough to drive, pretty good on diesel, fits all the band and all the gear in.

Sports. I don't judge anyone for being sports fan, except for a couple people I know who never shut the fuck up about their favorite teams and assume I'm as into them as they are, but overall I just don't see the appeal of being a sports fan at all. Absolutely this. It's the assumption that you MUS...

Massive fan, first saw them in '88. Not quite as party-oriented as the Quireboys, they're a lot darker in subject matter and tone. In their day they were one of the greatest live acts around, and the run of albums from In The Dynamite Jet Saloon to More Unchartered Heights Of Disgrace is incredible.
