Re: What is your "I'm calling it now" prediction?

This should probably go on the gossip board, but I'm pretty confident that most, if not all, of this will not happen: VINNIE VINCENT INVASION NEWS UPDATE VINNIE VINCENT INVASION JUDGMENT DAY GUITARMAGEDDON PT I I will be including Faysal’s performances on at least one new track; a VINNIE / FAYSAL hi...

Re: Worst tour of year Heart/Cheap Trick coming to LA arena

Seems very ambitious to book this at the Crypt. Much more appropriate for the Greek. Guess it would have gone to Fivepoint if it were still up and running. Yeah, the last time they came through my area together Joan Jett was also on the bill and it was at a medium sized outdoor place and it wasn't ...

I wish Andy would actually release something. I have kids that like Scooby Doo, so I have heard a lot of the stuff he has done for the various shows/movies. Some of that stuff is more Archies than Jellyfish, but it would nice if some of that stuff was given a full release. This was for a different ...

Re: Jellyfish - Bellybutton vs Spilt Milk?

I was kind of disappointed when I got the Imperial Drag album. Some of the demos from that album were leaked out almost a year before the album came out and a lot of the ones I liked didn't make it to the album. The demos were released on Weed, some file share service, about 10 years later. You can...

Re: Bloody and Bruised - The Untold Srory Of The Backroom (Austin)

I played there with a couple of different bands in the mid 90s and usually had a good time there. One of the bands was on their shortlist for cancellations, so we got a fair amount of last minute gigs there. What was kind of annoying was that we went from getting paid with two pitchers of beer to $2...

Too bad he’s wasted in Foreigner.
Being in Foreigner may be his ticket into the Hall Of Fame.
To the ceremony at least, but only the guys who were in the band in the 70s/early 80s are on the induction list.

Don't think these two have been mentioned.
Jackyl - they came through my area twice within a short amount of time, first opening for Damn Yankees and then Aerosmith.
Lita Ford - opened for Yngwie in 88, Motley Crue in 90, and KISS in 94.

The Black Sabbath Tony Martin was almost in blue murder? Yes. Sykes and Martin wrote the song "Valley Of The Kings". I didn’t know that. That would’ve been awesome What's funny is that it was the second time that Martin replaced Ray Gillen, who was the original singer for Blue Murder. htt...

What happened with their 2nd album? I don't know why Grunge would have had an effect on them since they're mostly pop. They basically broke up as they were recording it, so there wasn't much promotion for it. This was the single and I don't recall ever hearing the song on the radio or seeing the vi...
