Re: NFL 2011 Thread

I was just stating the reality of the situation. Anything can happen of course.

EDIT: And it looks like the Chiefs could almost do it. Damn.

The Packers are very beatable but they have that fucking home town edge. The Saints are a dome team that would be going to Lambeau in January.

I've got Walter's rookie card! 8)

But seriously the rest of yall stop feeding into Colts discussion. P13 is gonna come in and quote 10 people's posts and blow this thing out another 2 pages of nonsense bickering.

I can definitely tell you that if anything happened to Brees, we'd be capital fucked. Everyone I know would agree. I really wish we had a veteran behind him instead of Chase Daniel.

Funny thing is I've seen Tebow make some throws. Haven't watched a whole game though, the 4th quarter of the Bears game is pretty much it.
his receivers drop half the damn passes! he really isn't bad at all.

I like the radical predictions....but where does that put us? I'd much rather see Tebow overtake a name QB/team rather someone like the Niners.

Re: NFL 2011 Thread

I'm praying for my dream Saints / Patriots Super Bowl, so we can have both Manning and Brady's heads on a wall in the Dome.

But of course it's a long hard road through Green Bay for that to happen.

Re: NFL 2011 Thread

Next week may be one of the rare times I root for the Steelers in my life. The Niners need to drop one more for my Saints to move to #2. And I can't really explain Tebow. Re: NFL 2011 Thread

The 49ers situation is from a different time and a different era. If you recall, the 49ers had a third stringer in Steve Bono that was better than most other teams starters! The 49ers were built to win the SB no matter who went down. In this day and age teams don't even have to keep a 3rd QB on the...

Well I was talking about what happens to the QB more than what happens to the team afterward. I'm aware SF had a little more luxury.

I would like to see Manning on another team though.

WTF is this not the top thread on a Sunday?

I'll be bold and make a score predictor:

Saints 34
Lions 13

Other games I'm cheering for: Denver over Minnesota, Texans over Atlanta

(I also hope the 49ers lose to the Rams, but that ain't happening)

Luck has bust written all over him and I'd say that no matter who drafted him. That said, Cam Newton actually met expectations this season which I didn't really expect at all.

But why talk about the Colts when we can talk about Drew Brees about to smash Marino's record? Eh?

Re: NFL 2011 Thread

It's comical how much of a different team the Saints are in the Dome. We are going to eat the Lions alive on Sunday. That fucking Rams loss has us pegged for the rest of the season, though. People aren't viewing us as a threat. The rest of our schedule is a cake walk though. We are certainly better ...
