Re: It’s too bad Motörhead -

Accept did one and it's horrible.

Udo's solo band did one too, I refuse to subject my hearing to it because I know it'll suck.

Re: What the hell is going on with Andy Sneap’s hair??

Halford has been bald for 30 fucking years and before that he didn't even have long hair except for the early days (mid 70's ?) and it didn't last past something like the first album. He had short hair all of the 80's and late 70's, yet we are to believe that "band management" pressured Sn...

Biggest red flag for this "event" is: The press release doesn't even mention if this is an exhibition or a fully sanctioned fight by the Texas Boxing Commission. How do they not even mention this? A 27 year old Jake Paul vs a 57 year old Mike Tyson and ZERO mention of rules, sanctioning, r...

Re: Is the hate for Priest’s Turbo really justified??

Turbo has 2 good songs, the rest was trash.
Priest sold the fuck out hard on that album. I'm going to assume it sold well but the hardcore Priest fans weren't happy.

I couldn't care less because I was a big Maiden fan and knew that they were superior to Priest.

Feh. "Most important bass", my ass. James Jamerson's 1962 Sunburst P is still out there somewhere. If you think some Motown session players bass would be worth more than a Paul McCartney bass that was used during The Beatles heydey, you're completely out of your mind. One of McCartney's Y...

Re: AC/DC may be about to announce a tour

AC/DC is a little like The Stones. As long as Brian and Angus are there they can keep going just the same as Mick and Keith. Looking at AC/DC Brian and Angus are the whole show as far as stage presence is concerned. The other guys are just part of the scenery. Not many will care who's playing bass o...

Re: Taylor Swift vs. Beyoncé

I don't like eithers music so in a case like this you have to go with the lesser of two evils and that's Taylor Swift. The reason is quite simple: Beyonce has an annoying voice. It's grating and kind of warbles, like nails on a chalkboard. Swift also (or at least has in the past) writes her own stuf...

Re: Got a spare half million? Mark Knopfler guitar auction in January

I grew up on music videos in the 80's and I love rock music so I guess I'd be the demographic that would be somewhat interested in the results of an auction like this. But I still don't find Dire Straits all that great of a band. I know all the hits that were on the radio and had videos but not much...

I was at the Toronto show. That, with the following Rochester show were their last two gigs before going into the studio to record the black album, or it was a break from recording. The debut album did great, but how many bands can we say that about? Plus, the singer dies on tour and that album couldnt even get past gold status? Usually theres a huge jump in sales when it comes to that. PJs first three albums are classic. Everything after that is hit and miss but built later re...

The singer sounded a lot like Phil Collins. So much so that I couldn't really take them seriously. If the music was drastically different it wouldn't have mattered all that much but it wasn't. They just sounded way too much like Phil Collins era Genesis and it seemed like it was on purpose. The orig...

And how many years has Swift out sold The Beatles? When was the last time a Beatles song or album sold more than what Swift has put out? Probably the early 2000s, before her record deal. The Beatles final album was released in 1970. That's more than 50 years ago. Half the band has been dead for dec...
