Used to sleep with a guy who, amongst other things, used to say ‘Pacific’ rather than ‘specific’.
I also couldn’t quote Spinal Tap/The Office around him, as it’d just go over his head.
He didn’t last long (literally).

Re: Buying Bras
It's a freakin nightmare. I've really become fed up with buying bras - I hate the fact that I have to go to speciality shops and can't just buy cheap-ass ones in high street stores like a lot of my friends. It's just that the sizing is awkward - I have a a small back size but larger cups. I used to ...

What everyone else said - you have to finish it with her. A stupid, regretful one night stand is one thing, but taking the time to fill out dating profiles on at least 5 sites and sending hundreds of texts is another thing completely! I understand where you're coming from when you talk about trust a...

The Raid - 7.5/10 Only really went 'cos a load of my (guy) friends were going. It's actually an ok film, for what it is. The fighting's top class-it looked like the majority of the main actors we're experts at martial arts. I heard that Hollywood are remaking it. There's no way it'll be as good as t...

Re: Were you allowed to date outside of your race?
Its always bugged me when people use the term 'race' when describing different ethnicities. I date members of the human race. As far as different ethnicities goes, it's never been a big deal, ever. I've had three serious relationships, only one of those guys was 'English'. Well, kinda. He had some N...

'Marley' Our cinema had only one showing of this, so I made a special effort to get my ass down there to watch it. Was really hoping for good things from this, but....it wasn't all I thought it'd be. It's a documentary. I thought (assumed) there was going to be quite a bit of live footage along with...

He does a lot with GIO GOI, last time I was on the phone with the lads he was in a meeting with them shouting down the line. Guy is a loon. Ever go to the prince of wales in camden town? Titanic 3D ~ I was all 'watevs' about this film but went with some friends anyway. Apparantly, they had to 3D-ify it frame by frame which must've taken a hell of a long time. It's actually ok - the 3D, that is. Not a complete waste of time. 7/10. The Hunger Games ~ I don't know what the reception ha...

I'm sayin'.John Simon Ritchie wrote:Never read the book or saw the play, but the movie? I pretty much hated it and couldn't wait for it to end, honestly.
The MST3K styled one liners from the crowd was what actually kept me entertained.
You know a film's bad when the hecklers are more entertaining.

The Woman In Black - 5/10. Kinda 'meh' really. I get freakin' bored at work so I get to read crappy magazines and such quite a bit. The new Twilight film-Breaking Dawn. 3/10. SO bummed that I'm going to have to watch it again soon. The marriage scene at the beginning dragged on for feckin ages and the bit where they were supossed to fuck was literally like 20seconds long. SUCH a shite film.

Paranormal Activity 3 ~ 'S alright. I was with a friend of mine who scares very easily so that made it more entertaining. Gives a little more insight into the whole 'story' of the film - not that I'm too bothered about that anyway, but it's quite informative. 7/10.

The Lion King. 10/10 This movie leaves me speechless every time I see it. A true masterpiece. Have you seen it in 3D yet? It's a bit dodgy in some places, but for the most part, they've done a really good job. Saw it in 3D about a month or so ago and am going to see it again this weekend. The Debt ~...

Bridesmaids ~ I approve. 7/10. Harry Potter ~ Meh. Decent CGI - that said, I'm not going to base the mark mainly on that 'cos that's expected these days. Thus, it gets a 5/10. I've always thought Emma Watson and co. were all terrible actors. Horrible Bosses ~ Mega L0lZ. 8/10. edit: I never usually w...

Attack The Block. I was quite drunk and kept leaving and walking back into the screen (other people were playing guitar hero/some racing game in another screen) but, from what I saw, I wouldn't really recommend it. There are a few silghtly funny bits, nothing special. 5/10

Hanna. Fuck, that film is disorientating. Literally - quite a few of the shots are done on a hand held camera - not that that should make any difference, but when it's bobbing about and zooming in and out I found I had to look away. A lot. Nothing special - 6/10.

Limitless - 6/10. Nothing special - which reminds me - has Robert Deniro been in any good films lately? Submarine - 7.5/10. Noah Taylor stands out in this. It kinda looks like Richard Ayoade has tried a little too hard to make it 'indie'; there's a lot of quiet moments of nothing much happening. Sti...
