Re: Rate the last movie you saw
"American Hustle" - 9/10 David O. Russell hits Scorsese territory and succeeds in full. Maybe not the deepest drama, but certainly the most entertaining movie of the awards season so far. We'll see if "The Wolf of Wall Street" can match it. . How would you rate Jennifer Lawrence...

Do you gamble (bet money) on sports?
Maybe you gamble like a real man, and you're connected with somebody who's connected. Or maybe you have an office pool and you pitch in ten bucks and somebody wins the whole thing the next Monday. Or maybe you wager with a buddy while you're playing Call of Duty and your wives are finishing up the d...

Silver Linings Playbook - 9/10. Glad I finally got around to seeing this; excellent performances all around. Agreed. The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug 7.5/10 I thought this was really good, but I know for a fact that not everyone will disagree, because I heard audible groans once the film cut to cred...

Re: Jamal Mashburn owns 71 restaurants
If only Jamal could have harnessed his business acumen into some basketball skill, he might have a ring right now. But, hey, he owns 71 restaurants, I'm sure that's equally as thrilling. All joking aside, good for him. So many players blow it all before they're even 50. (and it's not like he was a b...

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
I never saw any footage from Warrior's WCCW days, but I shudder to imagine that there once existed an even greener Warrior than the one fans saw debut in the WWF. As far as matches: -Gotta include Honky Tonk Man vs. Ultimate Warrior in the IC Title squash. Doesn't count for much time-wise, but...

That's kind of a good idea, because it limits people to eating one piece at a time (or else!), which goes a long way to maintaining good health in the workplace!

I would buy a blu-ray of all Warrior's interview segments and promos. Match-wise, I'm struggling to think of what people would actually watch. He did Mania with Hogan, that was good. Probably his best, considering it's Mania, champion vs. champion, atmosphere, etc. Then he had some good work with Ru...

Dredd (2012) - 7.5/10 This was a fun movie, although it's obvious they killed their budget trying to do the whole 3d thing, because you get some shots that are really marvelous and look great, then you get whole scenes that look like they were filmed for a CW television series. Like cheap cheap. Sti...

Factotum 6.75/10 - A Matt Dillon joint. As far as Bukowski film adaptations go, it's much better than Barfly, but there is still some room for improvement. Also starring the girl from six feet under, the non-australian one, she portrays a convincing skank.
