Re: Bands whose first gigs were at huge venues.

Was that opening for the Stones after Brian Jones had just passed away gig? Blind Faith played Hyde Park about a month before the Stones. It was their big supergroup kickoff gig. And just think; in those days, before the internet, it was advertised mostly through radio, posters, newspapers, magazin...

Their first major public gig was on August 16, 1969, at the Auditorium Theater in Chicago, with Joni Mitchell as their opening act. They mentioned they were going to someplace called Woodstock the next day, but that they had no idea where it was.

Hyde Park, London
The rock band Blind Faith, composed of Steve Winwood, Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker and Rick Grech played a small number of gigs in England, Scandinavia and the United States between June and August 1969. The first gig, on 7 June at Hyde Park, London was witnessed by 100,000 fans.

Follow The Force and crank out a concept album. If it's good enough, you'll get more poontang than Frank Sinatra.
I did do a concept album that makes your mention of Sinatra apt, and I just shared a video from it. My most viewed on youtube.
Time for a deluxe remastered box set.

I own a 2001 Ford Ranger. It's perfect for me. It has less than 70,000 original miles on it. Someone broke off the outside passenger door handle one night, so I just left it that way. Somebody stole the radio antenna in a store parking lot, so I got a stubby little replacement that works better than...

I'll put my playing & songwriting up against anybody here. If you're so talented, why aren't you famous and why don't you make a fabulous living doing it? I've been honest about my life. The only thing I got going for me is a bit of talent and making the most of it. Otherwise I'm a loser. I've ...

That's what happens when you have "Tiger Parents" that beat you if you slack. Ah. I thought it was natural talent and ability. Guess not. Eddie Van Halen's dad must have REALLY REALLY messed with him. Eddie wasn't Asian. https://media.tenor.com/6GsRI8eoiTQAAAAM/joke-sarcastic.gif WHOOSH!

Some of the hands on some of the chicks in sleeks pics are fucked up. That's part of the deal. You have to explain what you want...very explicitly and carefully. Sometimes it does stuff on it's own. I was working on an American Old West pic, and it put antlers instead of horns on a couple of buffal...

I was on a union stage crew at an Ozzy show that was one of Zakk Wyld's early gigs. He was a fresh-faced kid. He had a female minder who might have been his mom. Makes sense - I think he was only 20 when he got the gig. He looked younger, and his mom was hot. https://i.imgur.com/a34blCC.png Before ...

Ace has a wacky, cartoon like voice.
It seems to be rubbing off on Steve Brown, who is starting to speak like him.
They both sound like Tony Clifton.
