He has many great albums and it really depends what you're looking for. If you're more into AOR / 80s melodic hard rock, From Now On is your best option. Addiction is also an amazing album. It has some subtle grunge / alt rock influences and in that sense it's unique in the Glenn Hughes discography....

I bought the Freak Out album a long time ago and I dug it. Haven't listened to in in ages though. I've recently discovered Willie The PImp, that's a great song. Maybe I should check out some of his other stuff, but the size of his catalogue is daunting.

First album was very good. Second album was crap. Huge drop in quality.

I always thought he was a much better singer later on. He's excellent in the lower register. But on those early Soundgarden, I often find his singing rather grating. I just wish he'd stop fucking screaming all the time.
