As for my guitar collection, it's on it's way back down. I'm trying to consolidate some of this craziness. Impulsiveness is a bitch. I have more than an addict should admit... publicly.
AWESOME! I will look into it! Thanks man!

Also, my buddy, Al Inteso, cuts custom pickguards cheap if you want to go that route.

I got black bottom '59s to try out on the V.
The Explorer is keeping her 1961 PAFs! I'm trying to get her authenticated now.

I'd really like to try a set of Pearly Gates in an LP - you try them?

Pearly Gates are great. I like them in less "thick" guitars, but I know guys who swear by them.

I saw they make a custom shop one for a Tele bridge. That would be sweet!
I'm wanting one of those PRS SE Singlecuts - any ideas on a replacement set of pickups for that? Maybe the Pearly Gates since it's not such a thick body.

So captain morgan, I have to ask, what did you pay for that thing?
Is it a fender? or warmoth?
And last but not least, is it possible to get a closer look at the flames? The look like the natural wood from the pic.
As far as my ash sounding great in all positions, I will say it is a very nice piece of wood. It's just that I like my strat more.
BTW, she paid a G out the door, with a tweed hsc.
BTW, is there an "ampesexual" thread? What are you guys going through?
Personally, I have a yamadano
I got assraped on it, but knew what I wanted. The first time I had one was before they were known, and got a t-50 head for $220

It's completely stock Fender, they made a limited run a few years ago
The flames are in fact the mahogany wood showing through, don't really have any clearer pics as my camera blows, but I will try soon.
Check out my new thread my friend.

Hey guys... I'm gonna be in LA for a few days end of jan/start of feb and, while I won't be buying any guitars or amps (already got to ship my musicman home from london), I was hoping to pick up a couple of cool/random pedals... So where are some good places to go for that sort of thing? In the general Hollywood area, as I won't have the time to go travelling too far afield...
Cheers!

In orange county, go to squid on beach blvd in stanton, they have my block phase100 I traded in a couple years ago, that was pretty much n.o.s.
Try asking em about other pedals 714-826-4000
As for the little gay guy named justin

I kind of paid too much, but it's one of those things were they're not popping up as much. Although when they do, a bunch do. There are like 5 on ebay, but they're all 100w.

If you're actually playing it, you didn't pay too much.
Didn't Vernon Reid play those?

Well, I don't really have the capability to record a drum kit (and I'm pretty sure my neighbors wouldn't appreciate it!), and some of my gear could use some upgrading, but otherwise, yeah, I'm doing pretty well.
