I have enough trouble with 6 strings, but my son is Mr 7-string. He has an Ernie Ball Petrucci, a Gutierrez, a Dean RC-7 and an Ibanez 7420... the Petrucci is easily the best.

2 more sets of straplocks and a dark-gray custom leather strap is about all the guitar-goodie fund allows this week.

The mom'n'pop shop I like to hit up is blowing out a bunch of stuff, economy is doing it's best to put poor'ol BJ under(BJ's Guitar Island in Indy).....$100 leather straps made by some cat down in Tennessee marked down 75% just to move stock.

These are a couple of my "old faithfuls". The red is a DK2M with ghost flames and the blue one is a guitar I built. It's a DK2 body with the DK2M neck and a TB12 humbucker in the bridge position and a Floyd Rose Original bridge.

I just installed a GFS Mini 59 in the bridge position of my schecter. Nice sounding pickup if you like a little midrange honk and bite. I'm all set if I want to play some old Who or even some southern flavored rock.
