I did that once with him on Facebook, when he was asking for suggestions on cover songs. I replied that he should attempt Steelheart's "I'll Never Let You Go," to which he replied, "I'll never let you go for that!" So I think he knew that was a bad idea! Can you imagine him straining to hit all those high notes?
