What albums are you currently listening to the most?

The one that started it all. Spreading gossip and insults since 1998.

The only time I feel really engaged in active listening to an album is when I'm working out since I have my earphones in with no distractions. A few weeks ago there was a "best albums for working out" thread and someone mentioned Megadeth's Rust In Peace. Having not listened to it in well over a decade, I've been spinning A LOT of Megadeth lately during my workouts.

I have been playing the shit out of Cheap Trick's Next Position Please, lately.

Is there anything cooler than the first four songs off that disc?

I can't take it / Borderline / I don't love here anymore / Next Position Please

I feel like I'm being bludgeoned to death by obscure hit after hit. FUCKING BRILLIANT!

If they ever do a Next Position Please full album set, I'm There (I'd be there regardless, but you know what I mean)!

Rio and Seven & The Ragged Tiger from Duran Duran. Really cannot get enough of either. Great musicianship and Simon's vocals are brilliant.

Last night/this morning I listened to the first 10 Motorhead studio albums, No Sleep 'til Hammersmith and Bad Magic on vinyl.

Also listened to Sacrifice, Overnight Sensation, Snake Bite Love and Everything Louder Than Everyone Else on CD and Kiss Of Death on MP3. I'm missing Bastards and a bunch of material from the 2000's but I already had several of those waiting for me at our local vinyl record store for a couple of weeks. I might cheat and play some of those from that era on Youtube.

Thanks for letting us know you're listening "on vinyl." That's what's critical.

I'm listening on Google which means in the car, at the gym, office, home, bathroom doing rails, back yard, doctor's office, coffee shop, name it. This also means I can listen to bonus editions, 90+ minute albums, etc. And I don't have to drive to a fucking hipster store to get it.

Thanks.

Oh look! Aristocunt thinks he has a point.
2,500 vinyl records
Original mix, no re-master bullshit.
Sounds great in both of my trucks as WAV files because I have a quality sound card for recording.
90+ minute albums on double vinyl.
There's a reason they're "bonus tracks" . . . they're not good enough, but if you're tone deaf and like listening to shit, fine with me.
I could see how a douche bag like yourself wouldn't want to go to a record store. If I had to listen to Google on the drive there, I'd avoid road trips to escape the shitty sound.

You're welcome, cunty.

Hell - Curse & Chapter

This is Andy Sneap's band, which he does when not producing record. Their singer is an actor and wears a headset, like Britney, only he actually does sing. They are equal parts Judas Priest and Mercyful Fate. Very long and kinda tortured history behind this band, they are a late discovery for me.

Megadeth - Dystopia

Finally got it right, Dave.

Band-Maid - New Beginnings

Japanese all-girl band with a maid cafe gimmick. I heard about them after Guitar World went nuts over the "Thrill" video. Some serious groove there.
