I prefer soda in a glass bottle over an aluminum can or plastic bottles.

I've not visited this thread since the first page, since I've nothing to say about Faygo. After seeing it creep up to six pages, I figured I'd better pop in to see what I could only assume would be some decent sludging going on. Nope. You fucks are literally talking about soda. What site did I wander into?

The one or two times a year that I have a soda, it's at a restaurant, so I guess it'd be fountain.

Yeah, I don't see the appeal myself. I just assumed that maybe it's something people drink to make themselves seem cultured.

yup me too..for me a can is the last choice...fountain rules! never seen Faygo in a fountain tho
im sure it's all over Michigan tho
Usually restaurants do business either coke or pepsi products and the occasional dr pepper snapple company products as well. You never see RC Cola being served in fountains anymore.

Gotta be Coke all the way. But many restaurants don't maintain their fountain machines properly (amounts of syrup and carbonation are too low/high, filter is dirty) so it's always a gamble to order soda in a restaurant. I think the fast food places probably maintain the fountains better because they sell so much volume and it's a key part of their business.
