Man, could there be a performer I would be less enthused about seeing in 2018 than solo Steven Tyler? Tyler still seems to hold this misguided belief that people are really interested in his musical life without Aerosmith.

Those are decently sized venues. I wouldn't think he'd be that much of a draw.

Bret Michaels played Naperville last year (not Ribfest, for their end of the summer fest). Dude's slummin' it.

What happened to his country record?

Meanwhile Joe Perry, Brad Whitford and Gary Cherone have some east coast dates.

I can't think of any other musician who continues to out-suck himself with each passing year than Tyler. He could've died after Rock in a Hard Place and we..wouldn't have missed a thing.

Wow, so they do. That's the first time I've heard them mentioned. Hampton Beach, Boston and Atlantic City in a couple of weeks. Tickets still available. Might be worth it.

So are Tom Hamilton and Joey Kramer bummed because they don't have any dates? Guess that means Whitford has graduated from the ranks of the Less Interesting Three...

Is he happy that he's on his own?

Is it better when he's all alone?

Is it because he's seen as "cool?"

Which I'm not sure about. I mean, yeah, he was on Idol, but the reboot is tanking and people clearly don't care about it anymore. The last actually relevant Aerosmith hit was in the early 2000's and his "country" album did worse than expected. Some of the venues listed seem really ambitious, to me. Obviously someone in the promoting world thinks he's cool, but are moms who were kids in the 90's really enough to fill these venues? I can't think of anyone else who'd want to go see this shit.

Why not? Keifer from Cinderella has been doing it for a few years now.
And, Tyler is WAY more famous than he is!
From Keifer's numbers, I've seen he's packed in a few theatres and casinos and made some pretty good coin.
Tyler should pull in at least 4 times as that.
