But was sold, and the new owner was named Jay, and switched the Z to a J, and it became Jaxx.

Being from Maryland, I only went to Hammerjacks and the Bayou (DC) for rock shows. Springfield, VA is a hike but became our only option once those both closed. Therefore, I only knew it as Jaxx. Sorry. Now post #17 .... I’m bored.

Ha, just got to the Jack Frost part. Used to see him all the time at the clubs here in NJ. He was a guitar player, but guessing he would try bass for a chance with a signed act. He did seem like he was angry back in the day. He went on to do a solo band of sorts, Jack Frost's Frostbite.
