Vince Neil's Exposed vs. Motley Crue '94 (Poll)
Which one do you like better?
Not everybody is on MetalShit.com and Blabberface fuckin’ dot net! Who cares? There’s such a small amount of people that do that. - Blotz

Exposed is fun, MC94 is a forced listen. Exposed is a party, MC94 is a farty.
Re: Vince Neil's Exposed vs. Motley Crue '94 (Poll)
Tough to choose. They’re both very good, but very different.

Exposed. By far. Exposed is right up there with Dr Feelgood to me. Crue self titled - meh. I like a few of the songs.

Easy choice - neither. Both objectively godawful records.

I never understood the love for MC94. Sounded forced and contrived.
Always loved both VN solos albums. Never understood why he doesnt do a couple songs in his solo sets.

so Crue failed without Vince.
Nikki fails with Brides & sixx am.
Tommy fails as a rapper, “succeeds” as scumbag quasi-porn star.
Mick threatens a solo album for 40 years…
Vince makes 2 good solo records?

Yep. They went way out of their way to sell how "hard" it was... what it was was tuneless noise.

Exposed was universally shit on when released as being out of touch and cheesy....but over time, people now realize it’s a hair metal jem. Catchy as hell, great production, and superb musicianship!

I remember Exposed being a great song, followed by a shit song, and the pattern repeating throughout the entire album.

Those are the only two I remember liking.
MC94 only had Hooligans.
So it's those 2 VN tracks vs. HH.
I think i'll take HH.

Had Exposed come out in 1988-1991 it would have sold millions. It was what the follow up to Dr. Feelgood should have been. It's like when David Lee Roth left Van Halen, he came out with Eat 'Em And Smile, which followed along with what Van Halen was doing, while Van Halen changed their sound a bit. Exposed had some good musicianship, production, and songs, it was just 1993 and at that point nobody gave too much of a shit.

Re: Vince Neil's Exposed vs. Motley Crue '94 (Poll)
Exposed is kinda like the "lost" Motley album. Or, rather, the LAST Motley album--they never sounded like that ever again.
But I gotta go MC94, boyos. The songs are hit or miss but that's probably the best sounding album of the 90's. 30 years later, still sounds killer.

At the time, I loved Exposed and didn't get MC94. Now, it's MC94 by a mile, and I still like Exposed too.
