Of course they will... they've had a new singer for a few years now.

This 90's era of bands, will follow suit with the 80's, 70's and the others.

If the music and catalog can sell the dates, it will happen with or without the classic or original members.

Honestly, that has to be tremendously painful. No child or parent deserves that process.

That sucks. but i am not shocked. A few yrs ago they played a small festival about 12 miles from me. Steve took an Uber from the hotel near festival over to a bar near me.. This was a Friday.. he had just gotten out of rehab on Wednesday.. Promoter had to send a someone to get him at 2:30pm or so. My friend said he was BEYOND trashed when the picked him up and brought him back. Also said it ended up being a pretty shitty show as a result. Sorry to see that it has come to this

When my brother was in college, there was a poll among the students to see which band they should try to get booked for a concert on campus. Smashmouth won. I guess they were the one act everybody could agree on for a hot minute.

Mentioned this before, but I saw them play a charity dine-around pool event in Vegas a few years ago. Singer was a mess. Kept hitting on women in the audience, walking through the crowd and doing everything possible to hand the mic over to anyone willing to sing his parts for him.

Could not stand these guys when they came out. I wasn't bitter about the 80s being over... I liked a lot of britpop. But these guys just annoyed me.

Listening to their hits this morning.... these are some really well-written and sophisticated pop songs. What is it about death that lets you see artists for who they really were?

I was kinda like that too. The goofball frat boy image was annoying but I heard them do an acoustic version of AllStar on some radio station and yeah, it’s a really well written song that works unplugged really well.
