Most likely the abdominal issues he had surgery for a few years ago have crept back up and are keeping him from performing .

FireHouse FULL SHOW at Rocktember Sept. 8th 2023... without CJ Snare...

The guy singing is named Travis Cormier he is from Canada and is 29 years old.

It appears he is a new singer in the Raiding The Rock Vault thing in Vegas, and he's been on a few TV shows too...like The Voice and Bat Out Of Hell.

Fill in guy has pipes, but not really a good fit for Firehouse. Sounds a little flat after the first few songs.

I thought the same thing. Probably didnt have much time to practice/review the tunes before the gig.

Sounds like Roxy Blue! He is really good, but really good in a generic kinda of way. CJ has a very distinctive voice. Hope he recovers OK! Firehouse have always been a tight, consistent band. They sound great here but it's really not the same without him.

In all seriousness, ive heard from friends of theirs that believe CJ had cancer a couple yrs ago when he missed shows & Andy Freeman filled in
Everyone in band say it was hernia issues but its been weird how they dont wanna talk bout it, then or now
Hope it isnt a reaccurance, if its true, as band once again isnt talking

We played with them right after they changed their name from White Heat to Firehouse.
Small club.
They were working out the bugs with the click track, flown in vocals etc…
They kicked ass.
Bill Leverty is a killer guitarist.

He's not playing the upcoming New Mexico show on September 29th. There was a Facebook message from the band saying Andrew Freeman will be filling in.
