AIR TAG in HANDBAG ... 3 scumbags got owned by an Air-Tag in the handbag they stole!

Post by MetalSludgeCEO »

I recently saw a home theft of a high-end handbag, plus jewelry and the home-owners safe came to a quick and good ending.

The man had put an "air-tag" in his wife's expensive handbag... and after the home was invaded and robbed, middle of the day while he was at work... after his home security system went off, he of course rushed home to the damage and missing items.

He then activated the 'air-tag', followed it to a home in South Central Los Angeles (shocking) and called 911.

The Police set up a perimeter, called in a helicopter and what do you know, they saw 3 men (the same # of men who robbed his home) swinging a sledgehammer into the safe in the backyard, all visible from the helicopter above.

The men were all arrested, and the home was full of stolen goods.

My question is... these stores with these high-end handbags, or fancy items... wouldn't it be in their interest to spend a small amount of money to add these 'air-tags' to ALL of these expensive handbags?

And in time, my guess is, a similar 'tracking device' could or should be added somehow into high-end watches.

Like a low-jack system in cars... this would cut into this crime in a big way.

Yes or no?
