Another thread about Mötley’s Bitter Pill made me think about Angela.
I’ve always considered it to be a good song, even as a kid when I heard Decade of Decadence album for the first time and was not even familiar which songs were ”new” and which old, I thought it was a very catchy and nice rocker.
It rarely gets mentioned anywhere and seems kinda overlooked. As far as I’ve understood it actually was released as a promo single, but did not move a needle anywhere. I’ve never heard it on the radio and obviously they’ve never played it live. I don’t even remember that band talking about the song anywhere.
Opinions?
Mötley Crüe’s Angela is a cool song!

Song is about Brandi Brandt so I understand why Nikki is not too keen talking about at least nowadays.
When Mötikkä makes comeback you should pick it up on your setlist.

I cringe whenever I hear Vince or Dave Mustaine sing "I'll be there for you"...
Yeah right, you'll kill me or kick me out of your fucking band you will...

I’ve always loved that song. I once read it was an attempt to come up with another Don’t Go Away Mad. Interesting enough, in the liner notes of Supersonic and Demonic Relics the band wrote a blurb about every song on the compilation except Angela. That should tell us what they think of the song.

I've never liked the Crue, I thought even their so called best albums were aggressively mediocre but Angela is a pretty decent song. It's like they all took a smoke break that day and the producer brought in some players with actual talent to record it.

It’s one of Dwight Shrute’s favorites so there’s that

Oh yeah, Angela is a great tune. I love the production on those new tracks from DoD.

Metoo. Or three.
They should have done a full album then and a hits collection like Decade two years later, in 93. They had two more songs ready to go but replaced them with Anarchy as they wanted to play it live at Monsters of Rock or something. Think the songs were Stop Pullin' My Chain and Punched in the Teeth and AFAIK they haven't leaked in those versions.
