My Dad has always been a fan

Since I started playing Yacht rock music the past few years ago I really love this band

Yeah, they're a solid yacht rock act. "Biggest Part of Me" is probably their best song.

Their hits were mostly mellow songs.
They really wanted to be known as a prog band.

Their 1st few records were more proggish before they went all luxury yatch-it, right?

Their label always chose to release ballads and other slower songs for singles, so that's what the band became most known for.
There were more rock and prog songs on their albums than ballads.
