Vixen was also part of that double-header, and Schenker, Blobby, and Share were all together in Contraband with Tracii and Richard Black, so I'm guessing the seeds for that project were sown here? Or was Contraband already an official thing by that point and the Ratt/Vixen/Schenker-filling-in-for-Robbin thing a planned preview of that?Bono Nettencourt wrote: ↑Fri Nov 10, 2023 11:27 pm Yeah I memba RATTs Unplugged as being pretty solid. Schenker sat in since Crosby was in drug hell.

According to Wikipedia... "Contraband came to be after a Vixen and Ratt unplugged session on MTV."

A couple other SNL performances that smoked... Bon Jovi "Wanted Dead or Alive" and Aerosmith "Sweet Emotion".
I'm sure videos are around somewhere.

Here's Roxanne doing Cherry Bay on something listed as the "Late Show". I don't recognize the host. No lip synching here.

Play That Funky Music from the same show:

I like this because it seems to be the only visual proof this band existed in the 80's. Did they even make an actual video?

It's hard for me to get used to these changing times. I can remember when the air was clean and sex was dirty.

IIRC, that show had rotating hosts. This was probably taped at the same time as "Jelly Roll," but here's "Billy" from the week Weird Al hosted that show: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=npoUI1obH_MHoldenSSV wrote: ↑Sun Nov 12, 2023 3:19 pm Blue Murder doing "Jelly Roll" on the Yahoo Serious Show, of all places:
