Dogma - the female version of Ghost. Any fans?

Post by Sticky »

This band looks and sounds very similar go Ghost, but the chicks are definitely playing up the "sex sells" angle with the cleavage. I think I'm now a fan.

And my personal fave, no video yet. This is Ghost meet Vixen...

Has that sterile "Frontiers" generic production sound, and the singer has zero vocal personality. I'm cool with the image/act if the band actually had some musical charisma and wasn't a fabricated studio project.

I'm mildly aroused visually but my ears are offended. That is some real amateur vanilla metal.

I actually met the real Scissor Sisters, around 15 years ago at the Black Dog bar in Paris, chatted with them a bit, had no idea who they were, just smalltalk, no fun stories or any shenanigans unfortunately.

While a lot of you are complaining I'm happy to have been exposed to them. I find it funny that considering mostt if the bands we tallk about here the complaints are about the production or it being vanilla metal. The production is actually really good, especially for a brand new band. It's got a really big sound which is nice. And while the music is nothing groundbreaking the songs are good and clearly they are all really good musicians.

There is already a really big buzz about them. Is it because of the image ? Of course the image is gonna bring more attention but it's right up my alley anyway so I'm fine with that.
