Standard cheesy metal from Cleveland, OH that got a minor bit of HBB airplay in early '89 with "The Heat and the Fire" and released a couple of albums before that. I saw where one of their guitarists died a few days ago, so I thought I'd see if anyone here has ever listened to 'em. Not terrible at all.

Yes - great band! Many of their songs were played in the 1987 horror movie "The Hidden".

Saw them open for Lizzy Borden at the old Living Room in Providence. Solid “meat and potatoes” metal, some good guitar work.
Re: Any Sludgers here remember Shok Paris?
^^^This. Otherwise it was pretty good song.
Shoot the next video in Florida. I wanted to hang myself after seeing those miserable images of Cleveland. Holy shit, what a dump.

Just listened to Steel and Starlight which I remembered as a good song from BITD.
He's not great but there were a lot worse singers in this era and style.
Nothing that stands out as awful when you have heard bands like Helstar, Anthrax or The Rods.
Re: Any Sludgers here remember Shok Paris?
Such a great club. Sometimes, they would take the tickets at the top of the outside stairs so you were "in" the club, but could hang outside. Also, great for underage drinking as the waitresses would walk around with draft beers to sell & not id you.

Haha. Yup, place was great. And yeah the waitresses absolutely served 18 year old me (looked probably 16) all the time. There was one waitress there, she was tiny with shorter blonde hair who I had a massive crush on. Good times.

This singer is what happens when nobody has the heart to tell you the truth about how bad you suck at singing.
