No. Saw Slaughter for free at a casino last winter. And seeing GW in concert gives me the heebie jeebies. C'mon I can't be the only one.

Slaughter fake Great White is bad combo
I saw this tour near San Diego at a casino in middle of an orange orchard! Left after Slaughter..ticket was around 70$

This combo is coming back to casino soon near Palm Springs- same result if i go 70$ leave after Slaughter
Jani Lane and Bret Michaels should form a band called "Nelson II"

Unless this includes dinner for two with drinks and valet parking. I wouldn’t spend a dime to see this show.
I’m completely in favor of the separation of Church and State. These two institutions screw us up enough on their own, so both of them together is certain death.

Absolutely!

Slaughter is always energetic and fun even if their setlist is frustratingly stale.

Great White with Brett sounds excellent! And they've been bringing some obscure gems such as "Stick It" and "The Angel Song" back into their set.

For fans of the bands, I don't necessarily think that's a bad deal, considering inflation, etc.

I don't really have any desire to see those bands personally, but if the question is value, and they're playing a decent theater, then I think you have to pony up the cash these days.

I'm not interested in seeing either band these days, but I don't think $70 is out of line for any touring band these days.

Assuming it's a nice theater or club, $70 for these 2 bands is a little high but not terrible.

Just know what you are getting ahead of time. You are not getting the 1990 "in their prime" version of these bands!

I guess you could ask a similar question as well...

Would you spend $ 28.00 to see Great White and Slaughter in 1989?

Seems reasonable... fair to say?

If so... the $ 70.00 today... is the equivalent.

Wake up folks, it's not 1989 anymore... embrace it... everything goes up, including concert tickets!

Also... please know, that this higher cost is not just going to the band or bands or the promoter on the bill.

This cost of that ticket, also helps pay the higher wage for the backstage staff, sound and lighting crew, the security guards, the person serving behind the bar, etc..

That seems low. What city, type of restaurant, what are you both ordering & are you drinking alcohol as well?

Since The Station, I won't even listen to a GW song &, from the vids I've watched, the singer from Slaughter does not sound even average, so no.

You mean when they looked and sounded great? Yeah, for sure.

Now? Have you seen Slaughter live recently?

Only if Great White brings back JR and they play the first album in its entirety, otherwise they can stick it.

No, but in fairness I wouldn’t go for free. In fact, I’m not even sure I’d go if they paid me $70.

Actually, I’m sure now… I just would not go if they paid me $70. I would go if they paid me $500.

No.

I would watch Great White if they were playing for free at the fair, just to hear Mark play guitar.

I wouldn't watch Slaughter if you were paying me $70 to stand there.

Lol. I was given that release and Shot in the Dark. Two of the WORST albums I owned. Literally 100% filler.

Seeing Great White and Slaughter live is worth way more than $70. I wouldn't hesitate to pay double (or more) for that show.

No. I have seen both bands when they were intact and decent. No interest in either now. I passed up on a free Slaughter show last year because I didn't want to drive 30 minutes.

Shot in the Dark is just ok, I agree it's got filler, but the debut is brilliant, love the entire thing. Dead End can be considered filler but the rest is awesome, GW playing METAL, that blues shit was still on the backburner at that time.

Back in the day, maybe. As they stand now? If they were playing in my back yard I'd shut the curtains.
