I eat pasta salads every day. They are tasty, filling and good for maintaining a healthy weight. Also they are cheap and prepacked. They are made local, and have a short shelf life. I take one to work every day. Eat them on weekends too. About a half of it is vegetables such as lettuce and kale. They are definately a meal. They give lots of energy too.

Most people load up salads so they have more calories than a cheeseburger pizza, plus salad dressings have a TON of calories.
