Yeah. They said they were old enough to drive, but not old enough to drink. Some of them were over 21. I think PJ was the only one under 18.

Later Trixter admitted they were 23/24 and told to shave off some years.

Roth convinced VH to shave two years off their ages in their band bio and carried on the charade thru his solo career - I was at his "30th" birthday concert in 1986.

The McDonald brothers from Redd Kross (Red Cross) were 15 and 18 at the time of their debut.

I saw a video on TikTok that noted among hair metal/glam bands, the only musician who was a legit Gen Xer was Sebastian. All the others were born before 1965.

And not glam, but it still blows me away that Gene Hoglan was 18 years old when he did "Darkness Descends." Tops even Lombardo being 21 when he did "Reign in Blood."

Fred Coury is pretty close. Born in '67.

Sebastian couldn't legally drink when he first started with Skid Row. He turned 21 while touring with Bon Jovi.
