Yeah. They said they were old enough to drive, but not old enough to drink. Some of them were over 21. I think PJ was the only one under 18.ChipsRoach wrote: ↑Tue Jan 23, 2024 3:36 pm Weren't the guys in Trixter supposed to be in high school when their debut came out? They all looked much older than what was advertised.

Later Trixter admitted they were 23/24 and told to shave off some years.
I’m completely in favor of the separation of Church and State. These two institutions screw us up enough on their own, so both of them together is certain death.

Roth convinced VH to shave two years off their ages in their band bio and carried on the charade thru his solo career - I was at his "30th" birthday concert in 1986.

Were those the two young rappers that wore their clothes backwards? I thought they were 10 or 12.Hellsinkey wrote: ↑Tue Jan 23, 2024 10:26 pm The McDonald brothers from Redd Kross (Red Cross) were 15 and 18 at the time of their debut.

35, apparently. Born in 1950.
Re: Bands ages when debuting
I saw a video on TikTok that noted among hair metal/glam bands, the only musician who was a legit Gen Xer was Sebastian. All the others were born before 1965.
And not glam, but it still blows me away that Gene Hoglan was 18 years old when he did "Darkness Descends." Tops even Lombardo being 21 when he did "Reign in Blood."

Sebastian couldn't legally drink when he first started with Skid Row. He turned 21 while touring with Bon Jovi.
