Hardy's releasing a ROCK album this year and dropped the first single today. His 2023 album "The Mockingbird & The Crow" was my second-favorite 2023 release. The first half was country, and the second half was rock, with the change over literally in the middle of the title track. I dug the rock half of the album more than the country half, so it'll be cool to hear a full rock album from him. Dude's one of the most in-demand songwriters in Nashville, with 11 #1 singles to his credit. He's had his own #1's on both the Country and Hard Rock charts.

ROCKSTAR is my REDNECKER for rock n roll. I feel like it’s the first rock song I’ve released that doesn’t take itself seriously and the music video follows suit.
