Play something we know dude.

I’d buy it if I could still play.

Dude's aging better than most 80s rockers. Is he 60 yet?

George Lynch's Screamin' Demon is a fine pickup, but lots of people are disappointed because they wanted the tone Lynch had during Dokken.

He was using JB's/Duncan Distortions back then.

Not sure how many people are chasing Warren's "new tone."

It doesn't matter what pickup he puts in his guitar with that fucking locking Floyd on it. I have a real love/mostly hate for those things. They just make the tone thinner and weird. And forget about doing double stops accurately with a floating vibrato, unless you're Satch.

I know this thread is about pickups but I like to go on a rant every couple years about my complicated, bitter relationship with a Floyd.

I’m with ya - just get a well made guitar with quality components and you’ll be fine. I have a Reverend and abuse the tremolo plenty… no problems.

So not much unfortunately. Trying different pickups and saying I like this I don't like that. Saw him guest with Zappa Plays Zappa at The Warfield in SF and it was pretty sweet...

Having lived nearby, I have often gone on tours of the Mars/MM facility at Oak Park and Armitage in Chicago, mostly for the free candy. That video is for certain, shot in that building.

I didn’t know the Floyd rose affected tone?
