Your most obscure hair metal shirt?

Post by MattleyCrue »

I’m going to go with either my Southgang shirt or my Kik Tracee shirt.

How about you?

I have a Salty Dog shirt with girl eating a hotdog on it.

Two Pariah shirts ( one that says Rattle Your Skull , I wish it still fit)

The Hangmen shirt

And a band called Toy Bandits (they were from NY and were in Metal Edge as one of the unsigned bands)

About 10 years ago, Cinderella had to do a make up show at the Orlando HOB. To my surprise, an old Florida hard rock/metal band Julliet opened the show. We've must of seem them dozens of time over the years. Stoked to see them again and got the shirt

Icon - Right Between the Eyes 1990 tour shirt. Bought at a show and signed by Dan Wexler. It still fits.

Also have an original Cooper "Trashes the World" shirt from around the same time.

I have the white Operation: Mindrcime shirt with the cartoon nurse from the concert video on it, and "Sweet dreams, you bastard" on the back. Is that one rare?

I have a Talas shirt I got out of an ad in a magazine years ago. I wore it to a Mr. Big show and showed it to Billy Sheehan. He loved it and said "Wow I don't even have one of those" and signed it.

Wildside from 1992. This is a link to what the shirt looks like. It looks to be from a vintage store in Jakarta and they're selling it for 800K. Hopefully that isn't $800,000! I'd gladly sell mine for only $100,000.

I actually wore it back in 2022 on the 30th anniversary of me buying it because that's how I roll.

800k Indonesian Rupiahs would be my guess. A cool $50, just buy it. The postage may be another 50 bucks though.

That would be a tee I would pay top dollar for! Finally scored an absolutely perfect GNR Lies original for $303!

1988 Monsters of Rock-Castle Donington.

Still in great shape, what a day /night/ morning that was.

Met Lars, Lemmy, most of Maiden after the show...

I had that one too. Either wore it out, gave it away or both... after 20 years. Still have the programme though.

You're lucky... I only met Nick Bowcott and Myke Gray at that show. Wasn't Sam Fox there with Paul Stanley?
