Christ.

Now we'll have to deal with all of the dopes wanting Bach back in the band, that know nothing about all of the shit that they went through with him.

Nope. They’ll end Skid Row and call it quits before they ever reconcile with Bach. They have their pride and dignity and Bach has burned way too many bridges for them to ever want him back in the band.
I don't know that he's burned bridges, as much as their personalities clash. He said it in an interview recently, how can you be mad at someone you haven't been in the same room with in 25 years.
Bach makes that statement but then continues to publicly shit-talk his former bandmates and take jabs at Erik onstage. You don't have to be in the same room with this assclown to see he's still an insufferable puke.

this HAS to 100% be related to his health issues. He's probably "uninsurable" (if these fly-in shows are even "insured")

I'm worried about Erik.

"The Gang's All Here".. it didn't last long

Bach is irreplaceable; every line-up after him has failed. Snake and Bolan are the problem here.

Well, from the release statement it sounds like his cancer might be back or he is actually still trying to recover, so a fair chance he won't be there anymore to record new albums either, sadly ....

DATE: March 23, 2022

SKID ROW has parted ways with singer ZP Theart and has replaced him with ex-H.E.A.T. vocalist Erik Grönwall (pictured). Grönwall will make his recording debut with SKID ROW on the band's upcoming album, "The Gang's All Here", due on October 14 via earMUSIC. The LP's first single, the title track, will be made available on Friday, March 25.

---

They announced on March 23, 2022 that they parted ways and that Erik will be on the new single released 2 days later. ZP must have been out for a bit before they announced, and Erik did the single in the meantime.

So Erik was in for just over 2 years.

I hope Erik is alright. This seemed like a match made in heaven for both sides, so it's concerning about his health.

Around two years ago. They canned ZP on March 23rd 2022 officially and Erik's first show was March 26th for their Vegas residency (I think). Setlist.fm shows them playing 147 shows with Erik, but unsure if all those actually happened or not.

Actually...that date is a little suspicious. Is it possible he was on a two year contract and they both decided not to renew?

I don't know if fronting Skid Row would be a step up financially or even artistically at this point for Jericho, but the hilarity of this would be off the charts.

The Gang Was All Here

Funny that they're putting out a live album in a few weeks/months with a singer who's already split!

Another vote for giving Bach a call, at this point they're starting to look real stupid with this revolving door shit...

Doesn't change the fact that Bach was 95% of the "it factor" as to why we are still talking about Skid Row today. Nobody is going to see a Skid Row show today (or "back in the day") for Bolan's "songcraft" or Scotti and Snakes "guitar wizardry"........

This is surprising and disappointing news, I thought they finally got their shit together with Gronwall, IMO he was a perfect fit (and the album was great). He has a killer voice and commands the stage, which highlights that Skid Row is "faceless bar band" without an over the top singer/frontman.

IMO, Bolan's "small man complex" has as much to do with no potential reunion as Bach's bullshit.

Skid row is another name out of four on a flyer for a cruise, bumfuck casino, potato festival or pool hall. Bach wants his own bus for him and his wife and probably 50% of the guarantee. Skid row will find someone else and keep it rolling, respectably.

It was fun while it lasted. Erik was born in 1987, pretty much when the band came out. I’m sure that had something to do with it. He was the fan that got the gig. Or like the 60 year dating a 30 year old.

Maybe next they should get a Filipino guy like Journey did!

I didn't think this would last. You can't have a guy with a compromised immune system out there contracting Covid and whatever else over and over. The powers that be have done a great job conning everyone into thinking Covid is just another simple flu virus, but the actual reality is gonna hit people sooner or later. To avoid it, they'd have to put in a big effort. Do a masked singer thing, purify the air on the bus and mask too. But it's not like these old rockers should act like they're immune from virus-related problems. Those guys may prefer doing that as opposed to bringing Bach back. At this point, they could find another vocalist that is on par with Erik. Frontiers puts out albums with a lot of top notch singers. Bach is still iconic though. They're gonna lose momentum if they don't bring him back. It sounds like there was no real leadership with that band.

Fun while it lasted. I felt the a,but the band made last year was pretty good. This sucks for Erik, but as a fellow chemo/cancer survivor, the constant threat of cancer markers returning or contracting a random sickness in some airport in the world puts one at high risk of really compromising the remaining immune system. The risk is not worth the reward, sadly.

Bach was king in the late 80's and early 90's, however, lost majority of his voice in the early to mid 90's and it's progressively degraded over the years.

SR will never reunite with him - he can't sing....

Sad to hear Erik left! His departure is a great loss for the band.

I have seen them a dozen or so times with Erik. By far, out of all the vocalists over the past 3 decades, he was their best.

Bach is a fat, dumb, windbag that lost his voice years ago, mothertruckers.

Skid Row can hire a singer every six months and still get the same guarantee they’ve been getting for years. You can shit on casino and county fair gigs but the budget for those events is way more than you think it is.

If people gave a shit about Bach being the singer, they would have brought him back years ago. No one gives a shit anymore.

Bring on that dude that was supposed to eventually replace Coverdale.
