Getting the triple crown at Mutt Lynches and then having tequila poured down my throat at Mugs Away on my birthday a few years back was pretty good
Mutt Lynches in Newport Beach has a trivia night every Tuesday that a buddy of mine conned me into doing for a while with his team
It was more than just trivia though, it always involved two other contests, this particular one was flip cup and paper airplane (you had to fly a paper airplane from a few stairs up inside to out the front door to have a shot at winning)
We won trivia, won flip cup, and won paper airplane (hell yeah!). On the way home I talked my wife into going to Mugs Away in Laguna Niguel for a birthday nightcap.
Mugs Away is known to have scantily clad women bartenders (typically as a side hustle to stripping), and this night was no exception. When she found out it was my birthday the bartender had me lay down on the bar, then she got up there and stood over me with a bottle of tequila and started pouring it down my throat.
That was a good night!
