Here's the thing. Nobody "owes" the fans anything, and it's the height of delusion to think that just because you liked a band thirty years ago they somehow have an obligation to get back together with a singer none of them can stand to be near so you can relive your youth. All they owe you is a show in return for the price of a ticket. That's all any band owes anybody.
