Jugulator would have been a good album cover, had Jayne Andrews not fucked it up.

Kinda weird. CMC became a place for bands in the '90s who could no longer get attention from major labels... Then got bought by a major label.

BOC had 2 fairly decent studio albums...plus a fantastic live album.

I really liked Night Ranger - Neverland, but Seven was not very good.

Other than that, I can't really think of any others.

There was a time in the mid 90’s where it seemed like all I was buying was releases put out on CMC

Kalodner's Folly. None of those records even went copper.

Van Halen as well. No volume 2, next best of they put out was Best of Both Worlds and they fucked that up too.

Erase the Slate by Dokken was on CMC. It’s pretty damn good…

When asked about the title, Jani said he didn't know why it was called Warrant '96 Volume One. It was all CMC's marketing.

I found a Warrant CMC compilation CD used a few years ago. They were only allowed to use the live versions of songs from the first two albums. The guy at FYE said, "Warrant...hehe".

Slaughter "Fear No Evil" and Tyketto "Strength in Numbers" - both the albums covers and the music itself were great!

The Portrait fiasco deserves its own thread. And probably its own documentary.

I think Great White's "Rollin' Stoned" was the biggest "hit" from that label.

This cover would have been so much better! I still love the album. I picked up a used copy last weekend for $1 and sold it for $25 this week. I guess it's still OOP

What's the story with Portrait? I actually liked the Ratt and Great White records, wish we could have gotten the Cinderella record. I'm surprised that one hasn't leaked...

I scrolled through the catalogue ... that is a pretty underwhelming list. But Accident of Birth kicks ass.
