Can someone more in the know than I am float an educated guess as to how much money Dee's talking about? I mean, we're talking about Twisted Sister here not Iron Maiden, or even Judas Priest or Alice Cooper. They can't be looking at more than a handful of festival shows and after expenses and splits, how much are we realistically looking at?

Dee is awesome. One of the best frontmen in hair metal history. Guy has energy a great rap and still in great shape this would be a very cool reunion but it would have to be packaged right

I am aware. Jay Jay founded the band long before Dee was a part of it.

You were shitting on Dee's character saying he would go out as TS if he legally could. (maybe he would, maybe he wouldn't) But my point was if there was ever an example of someone who should be able to go out and call any group of dudes "Twisted Sister" it would be Dee. He wrote every single note of the music and every lyric of EVERY song. Dee was the creative person behind the ideas for Were Not Gonna Take It and I Wanna Rock videos. Dee was the person who came up with the TS bone logo. Dee's wife was the person who designed and created the costumes for all the members.

Point is, the other 4 guys brought next to nothing (possibly even nothing) to the table, so getting 4 new guys and calling it Twisted Sister really isn't much of a change.

The creative person behind the videos ", really? He ripped off the idea from Looney Toons and Tom and Jerry. He knew it would appeal to his pre-teen fan base.

And put me in the camp of people that doesn't believe this thing for a second. I doubt it's even about him fishing for offers, he's just spouting off in interviews for something to say.

Regardless of if you like his ideas or who they were aimed at (I'm gonna go out on a limb and say TS never had a pre-teen fanbase regardless of the silly videos and it wasn't Dee's intention to grab that market), he was the one who envisioned it for the bands videos. It was also taken from Animal House and The Warriors. The only thing the rest of the band brought to the table was the name and that was from some other guy who was in the band at some point before Dee.

My guess is Dee is being perfectly honest. Both him and Jay Jay have said over the years offers have been coming in since they retired, and they just weren't interested. Dee also has plenty of money and has said for years he wasn't interested and there wasn't enough demand to warrant a "real" tour anyways. Why would he make up a story that the offers are starting to be too good to ignore?
