Sounds like it could have been on Dosage. Really strong.
Also had no idea they were putting out a double album. This is a good start

Agree on this. The lyrics just seem to be nothing. I mean, there's hardly any in the verses.

Apparently the last two records was supposed to be a double album, but he was talked into releasing them separately, supposedly something like 6 or 9 months apart. But then COVID....

Ed was clearly hellbent on delivering a double record.

I reluctantly checked out some Collective Soul, based in part on Demonfilth's ball washing of them.

I have to say they have many good tunes. A little generic and paint-by-numbers, but well-produced, well-crafted, good catchy rock.
