Let’s Blast Some Firehouse!

Post by ParaDime77 »

Through the years (90 to present) I probably saw the band play 8-10times. Everybody always seem to enjoy their shows and the band was consummate professionals always no matter the size of the crowd. Never met anybody that had a negative thing to say about the bad, the songs were good and the bandabsolutely kills on the debut record. Anyway, let’s pour one out for CJ tonight and kick back and play some of the best Firehouse tunes you know!

The Hold Your Fire title track is a great underrated song of theirs. How about cranking this one?

Sleeping With You I always listen to many times in a row- it’s impossible to only play it once. I can and do listen to this 7xs or so in a row when I play it

Never forget how awesome the video is

Check this crowd out in 2004 India, weren’t they also really big in Japan and Malaysia?

I still can’t believe someone would like a band like AC/DC over Firehouse
Firehouse had image, songs, fun and show excitement over all AC DC clips I saw growing up or today

Somethin’ Bout Your Body..hidden gem

Also, apparently their first album was recently remastered, so that's cool:

If you like the song "Love of a Lifetime," you are probably a little gay.

Does it need a remaster? Those first two albums had one of best production sounds of the era.

Yeah, the originals definitely hold up. It's not a massive difference, but comparing the two, I do like the remasters.

I'm still pissed they never properly recorded Flame On (and by all accounts rarely if ever performed it as Firehouse):

I remember hearing Home is Where the Heart Is all over local rock radio. By a Charlotte band called White Heat. Then they vanished!

Firehouse came out and were big! Took me a couple of years to realize White Heat had changed their name when they got signed.
