“Supposedly, the ’59 Les Paul I bought before recording my [1978] solo album is now up to $350,000 or more,” he says. “That was the biggest regret. It was after I quit KISS; I was still getting fucked up and I wanted to go to Atlantic City because I love to gamble.
“So I booked the helicopter on the West Side [of New York City], where they have those helipads, and I stopped at Richie Friedman’s We Buy [Guitars] and sold it.”

Man, you have to be a moron if you used to be a millionaire and now you dont have enough liquid cash to fund a trip, so you have to sell something, and you do, and use it on helicopter rentals and gambling.

After reading "Into The Void" By Wendy Moore and other books. Ace is his own worse enemy. Many times while in Kiss he would pawn guitars to fund gambling. How in the fuck can you blow that much money? Well just ask Ace. Then he sold the rights to his makeup. Dumb ass could have just leased it out and kept the rights. That way he could gamble and keep his nose full. KISS just sold everything for 300 million and can retire in style. Ace has to work till the day he dies. He was my fave Kiss member. In 2009 I saw him on the Anonomoly tour and it was great. After that he is back on pills and just shit the bed. Ace and Jack Russel should tour together as The we had it made and shit it all away tour.

Yeah, people say Criss was an uneducated idiot, but Peter made his Kiss money last from 1980 until the reunion (going bankrupt just before the reunion), hardly working at all during most of these years and then again has made his money last from 2001 until now.
Ace was hocking guitars from 1984 on and seems to never been able to made millions last for even a short period ....

Ace is the type who wanted to keep his exact lifestyle he had in late 70s even tho he didnt have the same income coming in.
That's why he plays now, he has to rather than he wants to. He wants the notoriety but doesnt want to do the work itself.

As much and gene and Paul bash Ace and Peter and get flack for it, Ace and Peter ARE tools and not smart men. Not sure if I could be in a band with those fools....

It’s not Photoshop you knob, that photo appeared in magazines in the 70s and 90s. Seen people say it’s an attic, not sure.
