Why did it fall apart?
The manchild opening for GNR and being buddies with Axl.
And now Fatgang VH opens for GNR and Bach back to clubs.

Wolfie probably pays to open and Sebastian won't. I suspect Axl hasn't spent much one-on-one time with Wolfie.

I think Axl's friendships are on his terms. I'm sure the two are still friends, but baz is probably a little too loud for Axls taste

A reunited GnR is obviously a big enough machine that someone like Bas isn't even a blip on their radar as far as openers go. I don't know if it's a pay to play deal or not, but even a reunited Skid Row would probably be passed over for any of the other openers they've had.
