Kerry King solo - Black Magic live

Post by aznsquirt »

From their first club show:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qe9F2fVZQDY

Band is tight, Mark crushes the high notes.

In case anyone's curious, they obviously played a bunch of new material, but the Slayer songs they played were: Black Magic, Repentless, Hate Worldwide, Chemical Warfare, Disciple, and Raining Blood. I wonder if/when Angel Of Death will show up on the setlist.

I would totally go see this band, esp. at a small club.

Kerry King just did an interview and said they’re going to do a lot from the new album, and the Slayer songs that he wrote or co-wrote. He doesn’t want to rely on Jeff’s songs.

I think that’s a good idea. It’s not Slayer so why play the Slayer classics? If you don’t like KK’s new album or the songs he wrote in Slayer, then stay home and listen to a life Slayer album.

Really? Why should Kerry King perform Slayer songs live? REALLY?

This

And it's funny that this song got posted. It's the only song I bothered click on in this morning's Blabbermouth post.

It sounds great. I'd go see this show in my town

Fuck Kokky Kringe

Like Slayer hasn't been played out enough... now it continues on. If you're going to play Slayer songs at least play the good Slayer ... Hell Awaits and Show No Mercy. No one wants to hear Repentless.

I'll give Mark credit.. he sounds wayyyy better than Tom.

Not a fan of Repentless or Hate Worldwide... If he's going to whip out songs he wrote he shoulda gone with Gemini or Piece by Piece, those are killer!

I like that.

Kerry is the least interesting member of Slayer. I could be shitty and include the scabs but i am in a good mood.

But i would go see this. Tour with KK’s Priest. Could do big theaters.
